Please complete the Electric Service Agreement (PDF) if you are moving into Moose Lake Power's service area or are an existing customer purchasing or renting another home within our service area.

Establish Service

To establish service:

  1. Call us at 218-485-4100.
  2. Please print and complete the  Electric Service Agreement (PDF) in full and return it to the Moose Lake Power office along with the deposit.

Deposits

  • The residential deposit is a minimum of $100 or a 2-month average, whichever is higher. Certain circumstances require an additional deposit.
  • After 3 years of continuous service, a request can be made by the customer to return the deposit. If the account is in good standing, the deposit may be applied to the customers account.
  • If residence is transferred, the deposit will be applied to the final bill. If the final bill is more than the deposit, the amount due is the responsibility of the customer. If the final bill is less than the deposit amount, the remaining amount will be returned to the customer.

Commercial Deposits

Please contact the Moose Lake Power office for any transfer of a Business Service for deposit amount, as this is based on the average of the highest 3 months of service over the course of a year.
